| Bio: | My journal is about my everyday life ~ work, family, TV shows or movies I've watched and books I've read. It's about my good days and bad days, things I've done and things I want to do. I'm making an effort to be more inspired with my writing ~ to talk about what I believe in, to try to see things from different angles. I'm open-minded, easy going, loyal, optimistic, occassionaly stubborn for no good reason, and I inherited the family blessing/curse of being, more often than not, long winded. I want to meet new people, learn new things, become a better person. Originally from Montana, I've been living in Alaska for almost 4 years now and it's been a great experience so far. I'm single and childless and I'm happy that way for now. Someday I might get married and/or have kids, but that's not my goal in life and never has been. So I live vicariously through my friends and family. I love to listen to/read about their views on marriage and parenthood, they have such a different perspective of life from their experiences, it intrigues me. I am an aspiring writer, traveller, photographer, crafty person...I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I love to write, roller skate, read, make cards and jewelry, scrapbook (well, I'm trying), bowl, crochet, travel and go shopping. I also love Italian food, the color blue, action movies, the Dallas Cowboys, holidays, calendars and tourist traps. I'm a shameless fan of Supernatural, Lost, CSI, Pushing Daisies, South Park and McLeod's Daughters. Some of my favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, 300, Transporter, Breakfast Club, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, It's A Wonderful Life, Sixteen Candles, Speed, Princess Bride, Gremlins, Big Fish, Titanic, Scream, Moulin Rouge, The DaVinci Code, Twister and The Goonies. I read like a maniac and I'll read just about anything. Some of my favorite authors ~ Nora Roberts, Stephen King, Dan Brown, Iris Johanssen, Linda Howard, Dean Koontz, Jennifer Crusie, Kris Radish, Maddy Hunter and John Grisham. A few of my goals in life ~ Buy my own house with a huge kitchen, lots of windows, a hot tub and a garden, have a Newfie named Smurf, spend two weeks in a foreign country, swim with dolphins, become a decent ballroom dancer, write a book and learn to speak another language. | |||||
